95 Accord, + wheel size to stuff azenis's, 215/45/16 alright? any suggestions advice?
Simple Question, Already Searched, need more detailed advice/opinions of people running this setup..
95 Accord 4Door DX
Stock tire = 185/70/14
Current setup = 205/60/15
would like to run = 215/45/16
The falken Azenis RT-615 comes in funny sizes.... for the 15 inch rim it'll be too small - 205-/50/15 - so i was planning to run a 16x7 inch rim however their tire selection for the 16 inch rim is funny too
225/50/16
215/45/16
205/40/16
the 215/45/16 would be closest in diamater to stock 185/70/14, but i was wondering if 215 would be too wide also if anyone as a pic of this size rim/tire please share, i need to make a decision soon, thanks in advance

w/ 205/60R16
Diameter Difference: 5.81%!!!!
Falken Azenis RT-615 didn't comes in funny sizes
it is YOU using the funny size
http://www.1010tires.com/TireS...ubmit
I'm using 195/60R15 for winter (stock EX size)
215/45R17 for summer(1.739% slower than my 15")
if u want
205/40R-16 83W XL B $92.00
215/45R-16 86W BLK $97.00
225/50R-16 92W BLK $112.00
get 215/45R16
"ONLY" Speedometer Difference: 2.454% too fast
I'm using 215/45R17
lowered w/ H&R sport & KYB agx
no rubbing no problem
I know someone here is using 225/40R17 w/ same setup w/o any problem

thanks for the reply but the azenis in 16 inch only comes in 3 sizes
225/50/16
215/45/16
205/40/16
so which one would be most suitable for preformance/no rub/no drastic change in speedo reading?

Hey How's it going? I have a '92 Honda Accord and I run 225/45R17's on the street and 205/50R15's Azenis on the track. If you're going for max accelleration, I'd go with the 215/45R16 azenis (which are about 3/4 inch shorter than stock and about an 1-inch wider). If you're more into cornering, you'll get a lot more ultimate grip with the 225/50R16 azenis (which are about 3/4 inch TALLER than stock and about 1-1/2 inch wider). I've been running the 225/45R17's with about 1-1/2 inch drop on the Accord. I have the smaller Azenis (and returned my suspension to stock) because of the SCCA stock class rules - still running the 225's on the street though.

Re: (AaronJohnson)
I should mention that the 225/45R17's are about an inch taller than stock and the rub just a little on the front inside edge at full steering lock. I haven't tried yet, but i think a 5mm wheel spacer would fix the rubbing.
