I have a 95 accord 2.2L and at the beginning of the week it started acting funny I idealing a lil rough I though seeing as I just filled up I got bad gas. But it got worse and worse I will now barely run it is missing in cylinders 2-3 and ideal very low like 400. I can smell gas and have already done a couple things to try and fix it. I put plugs wires and a new distributer on it no change, I checked compression and I got 190-180-182-182 so did not seek that the head or cables are bad I'm checking timing tonight I'm looking for help? Maybe something small I'm missing I'm a ford certified tech but this lil Honda is kicking my butt so please help!!

Hey Frank,
Does it smooth out when she warms up? My 96 was doing something similar, never got as bad as yours. When it warmed up or at higher rpm it smoothed out. Turned out it was the idle air control.

did the iav make it idle high and low up and down?

Exactly, rpms would drop real low, then it would compensate and rev up. As it got worse it stalled a few times. If I was in 1st or 2nd and was just coasting slow (under 10mph) I could feel it pulse even though the rpms stayed steady. Hope I'm barking up the right tree here.

Right, ya iam having missing issues with mine i thought it might be a iacv but from what i remember when that is bad they pulsate pretty bad.
