Default 95 Accord Crank Pulley Help (picture included)

How come my crank pulley is only halfway seated? Should it seat more or is this normal? Thanks.

I can't remember if it's possible to put it on backwards.

It's definitely not on backwards. I checked.

The crank pulley is not flush with the end of the crank snout. The bolt holds the damper to the crank under tension to couple the damper to crank and control harmonics.

If you are still unsure, measure the depth of crank pulley bore and the crank snout depth. That will give you the difference.

I checked if there was an outline of the snout on the crank pulley and sure enough there was. You are right. Also the picture I posted is normal. Thanks for all replies.
