I picked up this car back in 2011. 1994 Honda Accord EX Wagon with an automatic transmission and it had over 300,000 miles. Sense then I have done a few things to it but my ultimate goal is to have a nice weekend driver. I will show the stages of the car and what I have done to it while I have had it. I have a lot of pictures so it may take a little bit to upload them all.

This is when I first picked up the car.







I took the lenses off the headlights and painted the housings black and I also tinted the high beam reflector. I also picked up a set of amber corner lights off a local for cheap because the ones on the car had moisture in them. I also tinted the windows.

I had a pretty bad vibration in the steering wheel and upon further investigation I had a bent wheel. So I picked up a set of factory Accord wheels and gave them a quick polish.










Even after everyone that says stay away from cheap suspension components i bought a set of sleeves and that was a mistake. I did pick up a set of EK fog lights and installed them. Wasn't real happy with the fitment.

So I ditched the eBay coilovers and picked up a set of D2 RS Coilovers. When I installed them I also picked up a set of Skunk2 adjustable upper control arms off of a EF civic.





The engine bay was pretty dirty. I found a valve cover that was in better shape at the junkyard. I also got a new battery and relocated it to the hatch area to make room for the intercooler piping. I picked up a small intercooler so it wouldn't hit my fog lights. I got a 16g turbo for next to nothing that was in great shape. I bought the log manifold and intercooler piping from Treadstone Performance.

I picked up a set of 440cc injectors and a VAFC. I didn't push the setup hard at all and just ran 4psi. I had great luck out of it and drove it for almost a year before the engine broke while warming up.







The interior of this car was in real bad shape so I recovered the headliner, put some inserts in the seats and wrapped a few other pieces in the car. Thinking I would change the direction that I was going in. I ended up not liking the finished product.







After the engine let go i decided to swap in a H22 and a 5 speed. While the engine was out i removed the leaky ABS unit and got to clean up the bay a little bit

This hole car was filthy. A little purple power and a rag took car of most of the grease and grime in the engine bay.







I picked up a Skunk2 intake manifold, Pro series cam gears, Innovate mounts, Golden Eagle Pro series fuel rail, Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Hytech replica header, Mugen twin loop and a few other odd and end pieces and got to work and tearing apart the engine and sending it to the machine shop.

While waiting on some more parts that I ordered and some things to come back from the machine shop I did a 5 lug conversion. I used the Odyssey front knuckle and the rear I ended up having to get a 2/4 door 5gen Accord knuckle and used the 6gen Accord wheel bearing/hub assembly and rotor. I was able to use my factory brake calipers in the front and rear.







Got the engine stuff back from the machine shop.

Got all the little odd and end pieces cleaned then started assembly. I used Type-S pistons and stock rods with ARP bolts, stock cams and valve train.

Inspected the transmission and ended up replacing the bearings. Painted the case and got it ready to install.

After I brought the car back home I relocated my fan and temperature control ***** to make room for my oil pressure and wideband. I got a new steering wheel, changed out my head unit and installed a S2000 push start.







I picked up a new set of headlights and colored the high beam reflector. I got a 96-97 front bumper to replace mine. After getting the engine broke in i took the car to get tuned. The car had issues and didn't make much power at all.

After driving the car a few months it was noticeably losing power. It also developed a pretty substantial oil leak and was burning coolant. The oil pictured only has maybe 500 miles at most and it smelled burnt. Around this time it developed a rattle and my oil gauge was reading low so I just parked it and let it sit.







This starts my current rebuild. Before removing the engine and transmission i took my car to a local shop ( Fastech ) and had an a/c compatible turbo manifold, downpipe, and all the intercooler pipes fabricated. I am using a Precision 6766.

I got the engine back apart, the bearings didn't look bad. Turns out the rattling sound that I was hearing ended up being the bearing on the timing tensioner. Good thing I quit driving it when I did. It also looked as if I had a head gasket issue.







I sent everything back to the machine shop and started ordering more parts. My current setup will be.

Thanks man. I was really pleased when i swapped in my H22.


Got my old brake setup out of the way. While I was in there I changed out my wheel bearings, ball joints and installed so ARP extended wheel studs.









I removed my brake booster and clutch master cylinder.





The brake booster delete plate is the one you would buy for the civics. The only thing I had to do was get 1/2 inch longer bolts. The supplied bolts were to short. I wanted to use the S2000 clutch master cylinder. For that to work I had to use my Accord factory clutch pedal rod.

Got pretty much everything strip from the interior except the door panels. Cleaned my carpet and dyed it.




I also got the headliner and sunroof out and got rid of the gucci.




And this mess of a radio harness from the previous owner.


Then I got the dash out and started removing the blower motor, a/c, and heater core. That was a pretty big job. Now to tackle the wiring mess.




I finally got all that nasty carpet pulled out of the back and recovered it today.

After I dyed my carpet I was pleased with how it turned out so I decided to do my floor mats. Picture makes them look blue but they are black.


I also finished removing the Gucci from my interior and recovered with black ultra suede.

Sorry for all these phone pictures. Ive not got to upload any from my camera yet. I had all the glass removed except for the hatch.





I did start removing all the seam sealer and unneeded brackets. Hopefully can start welding up the holes soon.





I started sanding the car down. It's got a decent amount of rust that I am going to have to repair.

Looking great. Man LOTS of work on this, awesome thread! I like the front lip. Is it a "Spoon Type" Ebay lip? Fitment is great!

Keep posting here. We need some solid CD builds in the H-T forums. All the accord guys seem to hide out too much over at HondaSociety.com (only). There's so many sweet builds over there. Get those guys to start sharing over here

Thanks man, im not real sure on the front lip. It came on the bumper but has been removed. And yeah there are a lot of quality builds on HS.


Almost done fitting my headlights. I was hoping to pick up a bomex front bumper but the deal never happened. Going to take quite a bit of work to make the gaps minimal but I'm willing to give it a shot.


I did remove the doors so I can sand them down and so i could paint the jams.


I got 2 of the doors sanded. I think I'm going to weld up the holes for the molding.
