The headliner on my wagon is making these popping noises as I am going down the road, how in the heck do I fix this?

Amazing build by the way. Makes my wagon look like a pos. It needs paint bad.

I have seen some really nice pearl white paint jobs. I can only imagine that it would be a lot of work to add pearl.

so its gonna cost a little less than 100$ for the pearl. didnt get a chance to go out there and check out some samples but i will tomorrow. i think im just gonna go with white pearl, not much but enough to where at indoor shows and in sunlight it pops. i thought about blue pearl but idk, think thatll be a little too much..

Your body panels look like they could very easily handle a pearl paint job. They look straight and smooth from the images that I have seen. Pearl blue is nice choice as well. It will be making an appearance on my Accord as well. I'm actually going with long beach blue pearl w/gold accents on my '83 GS400 build.

update:
going to start taking the door moldings off and shaving them later today, had to order new hinges for the drivers door so once they are here (friday) hopefully we can have everything lined up for paint this weekend.

Front lip is running behind due to weather so that sorta sucks

Had to get a new oem rear bumper from honda-only place i could find it :/ but that will be here tomorrow

Got a rear lip (G-Square 96-97 Wagon Rear Lip) along with those headlights and should have both of those thursday

What technique are you using to shave the moldings?I prefer welding in strips, but I have used the fiberglass fill some call kitty hair.

we used fiberglass for the antenna delete and will be also for the moldings, im still sorta on the fence about the side moldings...i think it looks good, but it makes the wagon look really long..idk..

Just my opinion on trim fill in....I saw a guy do it on an FC RX7 to supposedly modernize the look of the car...I think it took away its appeal from its side profile along with creating a tall look of the panels.

In my opinion the actual door panel body lines that are located just above the trim pieces stand out more with the trim removed. I find that these small body lines flow with the cars silhouette better than the bulky trim bumpers. They also keep the panels from looking to long. IMO a shaved CD looks so much cleaner. If not shaved then at least colour match the trim.

I can see that long look with the wagon. What will you use for an antenna?I considered one of those units that mount under the dash cover or in the headliner.

My moldings are painted but were painted on the car.If I try to remove them,it's gonna be a big ole mess.

If you want to take them off you'll have to razor blade them to ensure that no paint flakes.
