i didnt think the tps needed to be calibrated since it is used off a different car but same specs but the car was doing it even with the stock tps on then i replaced it with the current one thats used. i just jumped the wires to check the ecu codes and when i turned the car on the CEL light came on and stayed soil lite for over a minute until i turned the car off.

what happens when you put corn on the pedal instead of barley?
if your check engine light is on then you need to pull the codes. thats why its there to tell you whats wrong. if you replaced a tps you have to calibrate it since it must be .5 volts closed and 4.5 volts open and that number changes based on how the3 tps sits in the throttle body.

Did you replace JUST the tps or the entire tb? If it was JUST the tps then you know it is "slotted" alowing for adjustment (that is why the factory on is rivited on-it is set to spec's). It is something like .5v closed, ~4.5v wide open.

Barley is a major cereal grain, a member of the grass family. It serves as a major animal fodder, as a base malt for beer and certain distilled beverages, and as a component of various health foods.

FIXED... .....good job!
Please double/triple check there are no leaks from the injectors...please.
EDIT: Don't let the haters get you down...hold your head high and be proud and respectful and things will be fine.

I was just gonna say it's your EGR ports that are clogged. Same sh*t happen to my F22B1 I had back in the day. It would sputter when I'm on cruise throttle.

no i meant TPS which is your throttle position sensor, i replaced the actual sensor instead of the whole TB but that wasn't the problem. all is well now it is fixed..ty
