94' Accord Ex Wont Crank. HELP!!!!
I have a 94' accord ex. I drive car for a gas saver. Been driving fine up until the last few months. It started out stalling out while driving to work, then i would have to wait a while before it starts back up. Then it went to sometimes not even starting in the yard when i go to crank it. It will turn over but wont fire up sometimes. Here recently, it wont it even fire up anymore! I've put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, ignition switch, and new distributor (with internal coil) on the car and still no luck firing up. The engine light stays on when i turn the key to the ON position. I used a wire connector to display the code and i got 2 long blinks and 1 short blink which is code 21. Vtech solenoid valve. I done some research and cant find anything saying that would stop a car from starting up. I checked for fuel by taking the hose from the rail that goes to the top of the fuel filter and switched car on and got plenty of gas. Thats how far I've gotten so far. Any ideas on what it could be? Could it still be the main relay even if the fuel pump comes on? I think the main relay control the power to the injectors too. ECU? Would code 21 stop car from firing up?

not sure about the code 21 other than to check your wiring to your selenoid and perhaps replace it. but i had the problem in my 92 accord where it would turn over but not crank. also started stalling out. was the main relay. there pretty cheap and easy to change out. so it wouldn't hurt.

Check this. Faulty ignition switch can cause itermitten stalling as well as a crank no start symptom.

Re: 94' Accord Ex Wont Crank. HELP!!!!
Finally fixed it after 3 days of troubleshooting!!! Turns out it was my distributor i just put on it. It would crank but not fire up. The rotor in the middle of the distributor was turned 180 degrees backwards. Took the distributor off, turn the rotor half a circle, bolted back on and fired up like a charm!

Re: 94' Accord Ex Wont Crank. HELP!!!!
Ran into another problem!. Car starts fine now. Today while driving it stalled out on me while running errands like 3 or 4 times. Its starts right back up but it just loses power and the dash lights remain on like they do when your 1st turn the key to the on position. I have a check engine light on. It's giving me the code 21 ( vtec solenoid valve). Which i replaced already but the light will not go off. After stalling out the 2nd time and I started it back up, the engine light was off and it was driving fine. Then bout a mile down the road the engine light popped back on and the car started jerking and stalled out again. Finally made it to the house and parked it now need any suggestions on what to do next. Help please

Re: 94' Accord Ex Wont Crank. HELP!!!!
Well, it has been about a week later and I think I fixed the problem. Narrowed it down that it had to do with something electrical so today I was under the dash panel by the fuse box and there are a bunch of wire harnesses taped up that run under the steering column. One main harness ran and plugged into the fuse box. While the car was running i accedentally bumped the harness and got the same result( car stuttered and stalled out leaving the dash lights on still). So i traced the harness to the fuse box and the connector wasnt plugged in all the way so when your foot hit it while driving it unplugs it far enough to shut car off. Pushed it in all the way till it snapped in place and been riding fine since
