Default 94 accord brakes sticking big problem

Everything was fine until i left my neighborhood.... I start to accelerate and i hear what sounds like a loss of pressure, then the squeeking starts. I pull off to try to find out what could be making the sound but i couldnt see any wear on the wheels or anything else. Squeeking is an understatement, its more of a screeching metal on metal. Anyway, i took the car back home decided it was something in the drivers side front wheel that was making the sound. Today i jacked it up and found that my brake pad is resting on my rotor. The wheel cannot spin freely without making this screeching sound. Because of the sound i heard at first, i dont know if just replacing the pads and rotors will fix my problem. Anyone care to share some insight?

It is possible that the caliper is seized. You can either buy a repair kit or a new caliper. Also check your brake fluid before anything.

if the caliper was sezied the sound would slowly go away, are you sure they are not the self indicators?

the sound went away.. i took off my wheel and started to spin the hub by hand and it stopped.. i put the wheel back on and drove it around.. no problems.. it didnt pull when i hit the brakes or anything... no more sounds after driving it around. so the caliper could be seized.. is there any way i could find out for sure?

try pulling off the pads and lightly sanding them. they might be glazed, this happens a lot with semi-matelic pads. the thing that makes this different is that it is all the time not just when breaking, but not all the time.
