Ok guys this is starting to get on my nerves. Sometimes I think my car is bi-polar.
Here's whats wrong:

It turns over but wont fully start.

I checked my spark plugs and they had oil in them.
So I fixed that. Now there is no oil in the spark plugs.

After I changed that and put some alcohol in the gas tank it started working fine.
I put the alcohol in there to try and clean the fuel injectors. It was an old trick I decided to try.

That was over a month ago.

Every once in awhile( like 2 times) it doesnt want to start up, but after a few mins of trying to start it, it will fire up.

Yesterday it did the same thing. It will turn over but wont start up all the way. So I let it sit for about 30 mins. I came back outside and tried it and it started. I drove it to the gas station. Turned it off and put some gas in it. It started up and I drove it home. I went out there this morning to try and start it and its doing it again. But this time if I let it sit for about 30 mins it wont start up.

I was going to try to look at the fuel pump, but I dont know if it is under the back seat or if I have to drop the whole fuel tank. Im thinking that there is something in the gas tank (like rust) that is clogging it up. Or maybe my fuel pump is going out.

Its that or my fuel injectors.

And really,
I have no clue what it is.

If any one has an idea what it is, or knows where the pump is on my 92 Honda Accord LX. Please let me know.

If it seems to be happening during hot days the main relay would be my guess. I had the same problem, same car. I would go out to head to work after the car had been sitting in the summer sun, inside temp 100+. crank...crank...crank. Eventually I could get it to catch. Driving around the interior would cool down and it would not be a problem after that. Same on cool days and early mornings, no problems. Since the replacement I am now in Florida and it has not been a problem.

Thanks for the reply. I found out the problem. It was the main relay. We tested the fuel pump and it was running. So we tested the relay and we had to jump it to get the car started.

The bad news is its a 86.00 part. Thankfully tho my boyfriend can get it for 46.00.

But just to let you guys know for future reference, we used a fuse to jump it lol. So if I use the fuse on the relay it will start. Without the fuse theres a good chance it wont start.

Oh and the fuel pump is in the gas tank.
Found that out after we took my back seat apart.
That was a pain.
