I second the grounding (G101) issue. Check to make sure that your engine wire harness is properly grounded at the thermostat housing. G101 is the main ground for your ECU and ignition system. Also make sure that all of the other battery and ground connections are clean and tight.
If all of that is good and you are getting full voltage to the dist. try testing/replacing the ignition control module (ICM), aka ignitor

Re: 90 accord help!
i grounded the block (havent checked the thermostat housing ground) to the frame tried the wires off my car that runs and it just cranks and cranks but wont start
its not even trying to start
i replaced the fuel pump bout 6 months back so its getting fuel it was running before we did the headgasket fix, the dizzy is brand spankin new
i will try changin out igniter after i check the "g101"
it doesnt sound like it wants to start at all it just cranks as if there was no gas
thanks for the advice!!! will give update after i try the suggestions!
*just checked the thermostat housing ground and its there as far as timimg my dad used to work for honda and im pretty sure he kew what he was doin when he changes the timing belt (i hope lol he is gettin old) i double checked the firing order and its good but then again if theres no spark to the wires the order doesnt really mean much or does it?

Re: 90 accord help!
Spark plug wires usually have 10-15k ohms resistance. If you have a weak/failing ignitor, it won't pack enough punch to overcome that resistance and give you the spark you need for ignition.

No spark, no fire. Your correct that firing order won't make a difference in this situation. However you should still make sure it's correct for when you do get spark to your plugs.
If your getting 12v to your distributor & coil but nothing out to your spark plugs. I would definitely take a look at the ignitor.

Re: 90 accord help!
well it s a brand new dizzy (reman) but pretty much new from the autoparts its the second one we tried maybe we just got unlucky and got 2 duds in a row
how would one go about testing the igniter? how would it do bad if we had a perfectly working dizzy when we parked the car? im having the same problem with my 93 ej2
both cars worked fine before they were parked and now no spark.
he also mentioned he removed the module for the automatic seatbelts does that affect anything?
thanks for all the help!!!
