89 accord with 84k miles
I have an 89 LX with only 84K miles on it. My son dosen't want it. Shall I sell it? What should I do to get it ready to sell. I just had it smogged.

Personally, I think you should beat your son around a bit until he realizes what a find that is, then sell it to someone who can appreciate it.

Those are very low miles...how is the exterior/interior?
Services?
Its fuel injected right?
manual/auto?
too many variables...I would look up the blue book and go from there

Automatic
Had it tuned up with a very good Honda mechanic. New drive belt, tires, battery and yes, fuel injected. Kelly says $2530. I've dropped about $1,500 so far.
Exterior has small (1/4 inch) rust spot near door handle outside and about 6 on roof. The front left panel was replaced and it's a close but not perfect match. One of the headlights needs adjusting: replaced the bulbs.
thanks for the info so far.

well, if the blue book says 2350, and you have recently put in 1500, i would say sell the car for an even 3000 dollars, thats a nice car with low mileage which is basically a steal for any college student or commuter that needs a reliable car to get back and forth to their destination, i suggest 3k, with such low miles it has to be something that will last for so many more years...
