Yeah u can paint the inside except the rear reflective part. I did it. Why I did it I dont know. It looks nice, but I want stock lights again.

Do it yourself black housing, try searching.

I think stock looks awesome though, similar to JDM integra headlights.

Re: 5th gen headlights (iam7head)
I tried it myself, I didn't like it. I just bought the JDM style replicas. They look good, and they use H4 and H2 bulbs. I've had them for over a year, and no problems with fogging up.
EDIT: The top picture is current, the red H logo was stolen.

Re: 5th gen headlights (paul9luap)
Is it possible on 4th gens also? I was looking at them and you have to take the metal clips off right? Well my luck I know I would break one so I have always been scared to take apart the headlights...

Re: 5th gen headlights (One2chi)
one2hi i found it alot more easy to take the bumper off to get the headlights out , you can take the headlights off with the bumper on, but i found that i little room to work with and hard to get to 2 of the 5 screws holding the deadlights in.

Re: 5th gen headlights (oO oatmeal Oo)
It is a pain to take the bumper cover off. It makes it a lot easier with two people present. Plus, once you take a bump cover off, it will never go back on the exact same. You can get it close, but not exact.

Re: 5th gen headlights (One2chi)
no, not "hard", just be patient. one person should hold it up in the center while the other is reattaching everything.

Re: 5th gen headlights (paul9luap)
one2hi.........takeing off the bumper was not hard at all, i did it my self and put it back together my self... if you have some help the better it is for you. the only thing i had a problem with taking off the bumper was taking off the black plastic screws off, from between the bumper and the headlights you will see what i mean. all i did to take them out was loosen the headlight bolts some move the tilt the headlights out of the was and you should be able to take them off.i think there are 2 under each headlight and you should be able to remove them. good luck e-mail me if you have a question. eric
