4cyl '94 Accord LX(suggestions on performance mufflers)
I have a 4cyl '94 Accord LX(Non V-tech/F22B2) Searching for a deep toned muffler to go along with my aftermarket header, cat & ca-intake. Currently have 2.25" pipe. I was considering a MagnaFlow muffler, just not sure which one would deliver the deepest sound. And considering the inlet sizes of the mufflers they have, there's not too many options to choose from. But I know I want it as deep as possible.
What I have now is a lot higher pitched than what I wanted and loud as hell(I've had multiple noise violations driving around where I live and I'm really tired of paying for it), ie; buzzing and sounds like a a weed-eater(worse than it should, not to mention I set off car alarms any time I drive through a parking lot or the parking garage where I work, lol). It's also ridiculously loud inside the car. **I would appreciate serious suggestions only** Thanks!

This is a threat I started for my car, you might find something that fits you. Also there's an exhaust video thread, people post videos of theirs exhaust and how they sound.

What is your current setup?
Have you removed the mid pipe resonator? If you did, I would suggest putting one back in there. That will help with the higher notes and should eliminate some of the drone inside the car.
These are inline 4 cylinder engines of fairly small displacement. There is no way to make them sound like a large displacement V8. Also remember that with a straight through muffler, the larger diameter tip at the end, the more annoying it will be inside and outside of the car.
If you are happy with 2.25" pipe. I would suggest an OE replacement muffler from the EX Accord. it is 2.25 with a twin tip and it sounds pretty good on the Non VTEC F22B2 with CAI and a header. Bosal use to make a nice sounding over axle muffler for the CD Accord.

You should have an OBDII F22B2 if it is stock and you are located anywhere in North America! The engine code is stamped on the block, down between the exhaust manifold and the transmission.
FWIW, you could have tried using the search function or Google rather than jacking this guys thread, for a completely unrelated topic....
