2002 Accord V6: Intermittent Gauge Cluster Outage
I have a 2002 Accord V6 four door with an intermittent gauge cluster issue.
Symptoms: While driving or parked, the tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge will momentarily turn off and on. I've had one instance where it remained off for an extended period of time.
1. I've check all the fuses.
2. I've removed the cluster to isolate a wiring issue.
3. I've been able to trigger the problem by tapping on the cluster itself, however not every tap will reproduce the issue. But by tapping it does help to trigger the momentary outage.
Any advice or solutions?
Thank You in advance,
Len
