2000 honda accord coupe air filter replacement? and e-brake issues
does anyone know how to replace the air filter? any help would be greatly appreciated!
also...my brake light stays on after i release my e-brake from parking it for more than like 4hrs. however, after running the car for a while, parking it, then releasing the e-brake, the brake light turns off. what's going on?

For the e-brake deal, check the fluid level in master cylinder. Low fluid level will set off the "BRAKE" light in the dash.

replacing an air filter is actually really easy. Just look for the air filter cover which should be on the right side of the car (while looking at the car under the hood) It is just in front of the drivers side above the front left wheel of you car. It should also be right next to your battery. There will be four screws on the cover. Unscrew these four screws and pull the cover off.. Take out old filter and put in new one and you are good to go.
I've included a diagram to help you out.
The cover is labeled number 1 and the 4 screws you need to take out are # 16. If you need any more help just post again.

Most of the info. is in the owner's manual:
If it is a 4 cylinder, the air filter cover can be open by unsnapping the four clamps, for 6 cylinder, loosen the bolts. (See pictures.)
Check brake fluid level first for the brake light. Otherwise, it just might be a sticking float or the master cylinder reservoir filter might need to be replaced; see link.
