2000 Accord SE with T rated tires
My Accord came with H rated tires and I see Michelin has a tire called the
Hydroedge. It is T rated and comes with a 90K treadware warrenty
One tire place said I could out a T rated tire on with no problems and
one said stick with the H rated ones. really like the 90k warranty
Anyone use a T rated tire on a 4 cylinder Accord?
thanks
Gary

Re: 2000 Accord SE with T rated tires (lost-in-space)
the symbols T and H are speed ratings..(how fast you can drive and metain a certain factor of safety wrt the tire damage/failure)
T ratng = 118mph
H rating = 130 mph
you know your driving habbits...only you can decide
you should consider the tread number and temperature rating when considering how long you think a tire will last...
here is an excellent site to tell you about the making on tire and what they mean and their importance
