My fiances accord made clunk noise yesterday, i jack it up to find the frame rusted and broke here are some pics. Where can i get this part and what is it called?

That is in really rough shape boss...... However;

It is part known as the rear beam... it can be replaced. Takes a bit of work and they can be pricey if you can't find one in a local junk yard.

What model and year is your Accord?

Sorry I should have actually read the title...lol

I would give this a 7-8 out of 10 for the Do it yourself guy. If you don't have a shop manual or the tools to remove tie rods, steering columns and the steering rack. This would be something you should leave up to a professional.

It can be done if you have the tools and the patience.

Thank you for helping me. I found the part for $200 about 5 minutes from my house! now if I could get the service manual to work, id be all set.

a recommendation- from the severity of the corrosion in that pic i think a thorough inspection of the rest of the undercarriage would be wise. also i would be sure to replace as many of the bolts as you can when you replace the beam.
