Be careful of over-investing into an old car. Your time and effort put into it is rarely returned when you have a accident or need an insurance claim. I spend a lot of time making my Accord reliable, but I wont fool myself into thinking this car is fast. If you want to be unique and make an Accord go fast, then its all good. The faster you go in the Accord, the more you give up in reliability. I have 260k on my all-non-performance Accord, and I hope to make it to 400k miles. The H22A engine doesnt last that long like the f22a in the Accord. I have a BMW, a motorcycle and a jetski to go fast in. I have my Accord to always be there when I need it, and take any long distance trip I want to take.

Check the high mileage tread for the Prelude/Integra, and check the high mileage tread for the Accord/Civic and you see a BIG difference in what they consider high mileage. An Accord is just getting broken in at 200k miles. Prelude is high mileage over 160k miles.

You're getting ideas. If you didn't want ideas, you shouldn't have came here. You should be thankful, not ungrateful for the help and ideas you're getting.
