Default 1995 Honda accord ex engine shaking and car barely moving after changing starter

My 1995 honda accord ex starter went out so i had to take the distributer out in order to get to the starter and take the bottom radiator hose and air filter hose off to get to it i replace the starter and put everything back and installed the distributer and the tooth broke off the distributer so i took the distributer off and took the tooth out of the area where it fell in and replaced the distributer aswell when the tooth broke the car started but would not drive and the car engine was shaking very bad and not even half as loud as it usually is expecially with the muffler off when i put the new one on the car sounded and still shaked the same but it drove maybe about 30-40 mph but very crappy and seemed to not want to catch gear or something i smell gas very strong and the engine is over heating very bad i drove it again down the road and it got up to maybe 10 mph... Everything was fine before nothing wrong and now this nothing is in the engine i took the head gasket off to look at the moter and everything seems fine but two of the bolts that hold it on are broke off inside the area that it screws in the two back right one and i broke those accidently when tighting them back up to put them back on and im sure i can replace them and take those out with a bolt extractor or something but that dont explain the hard shake and no power in engine cause that happend before i did that... Please help me with this problem no car big family out in middle of no where stranded basically.

Holy run on sentence. Really struggling trying to understand what you're trying to say. So the distributor broke? Then you replaced it? Then wouldn't run right? Like the timing was off? Then you removed head gasket but broke two head bolts? Please let me know if I'm understanding correct?

Sounds like when it rains it pours. Let's start at the back and work to the original problem. Did you replace the head bolts after removing the head? The head bolts are a torque/stretch bolt. You torque them and then give them a certain degree of twist, which stretches the bolt. It also weakens the integrity of the bolt. They are a single use bolt...that woulf help explain why 2 of them broke.
Did you check the timing when you replaced the distributor? That could be the reason for the initial problem.

No havent replaced them dont have anything to get them oyt with. A mechanic i called said the car wouldn't even start if the timeing was off. I dont know how true that is he said as for a 95 honda it would not even start... Im not a mecanic by all means and thats the most work ive ever done on any vehical. I just bought some spark plug wires and put them on and still nothing. If timings off would the engine shake bad and hardly run and smell like gas. Usually my car can be heard from miles cause no muffler at all now it is audible but not half as loud.
