1995 accord h22 swap wiring
ive searched already, so please dont say that
we are doing a h22 swap into a 1995 accord, the motor came out of a 92-96 prelude, but i beliveve the actual h22 is out of a 97+ the block code is a h22a4 same as in my 97 lude. i didnt work today, so i wasnt there, but my co worker called me and told me that the VTEC silinoid plug didnt match the h22 silonoid, and he was saying something about two other plugs, anyone know about this, im going tomorrow to look and i want to running before noon! anyhelp will help!
cliff notes:
h22a4 going into a 95 accord
wiring help please
motor was a f22 in the accord too

Re: 1995 accord h22 swap wiring (All Mota CTR)
Firts thing is you are using an obd2 motor with an obd1 car. I assume you got a conversion harness for that. Another thing is you never mention what trim level your accord is but i assume it was a ex with the f22 vtec motor? My motor was an obd 1 so i am not sure on those plugs.

yes its an ex as i mentioned the f22 is what was in the car.
i know we need a conversion harness, thats not the problem
the problem is what plugs and all need to be swaped. or would it be easier swapping the harness

i have a 00 h22a4 in my 95 accord lx, i didn't need a conversion harnesss, it was originally a sohc notec (non vtec)...I finished it about 2 months ago and it runs fine, i was originally going to use the h harness and use a conversion harness b4 i hooked it up to the ecu but i decided against it.

i used the accord harness, and a chipped p28 with a sotck p13 map. I didn't use a conversion harness. I have an obd1 ext coil distributor (td-61u) and obd1 injectors. the motor came with crank sensor, but i didn't use it.

Re: (Sonny30)
IAB's don't exist on a P28 of course, so you must be using a Aftermarket Intake Manifold.
