1983 Accord Tranny into an 1985 Accord
Will a 5 speed tranny from a 1983 Accord fit into a 1985 Accord?
I have one that I'm trying to get rid of and this woman wants it and wants to know if it will fit her car.

So maybe I should ask her what kind of Accord she has? The only thing I remember about the Accord it came out of has that it was a 5 speed hatchback, the tranny been stored for at least 10 years so I forgot what car it came out of.

I believe that the 83 and 85 accords are in the same generation and if they are, the trans should fit, even if they are not, there is a high likelyhood that it will fit.
