when I start it the maint req orange/yellow light flashes about 4 or 5 times then goes out... what does that mean?

also what can I do to this car to de-womanize it appearance wise? and for about a 1000$ like wheels and stuff... post some pics of ur ride.

motor looks to be 98-02 accord, f23 sohc vtec, ULEV (ultra-light emission vehicle), hp rougly around 150hp/150tq.

de-womanize = slap on lip, lowering springs or coilovers, rims, rougly $1G.

that maintenance light just lets you know when you've reach roughly 3k miles, time to now change oil and any other regular maintenance, it can be resetting so it'll appear after another 3k miles.

Just making some quick corrections:

The motor pictured is the 148 hp, 152 lb-ft F23A4 ULEV (Ultra-LOW emissions vehicle) motor.

The maintenance light comes on and stays on every 7500 miles. For the last few hundred miles during that period, it will flash a few times at startup and then turn off. After resetting the light, it will come on and stay on after another 7500 miles. To reset the light, with the key in the off position, press and hold the trip reset button. Continue holding and turn the key to the "ON" position, without starting the car. Continue holding for up to 20-25 seconds.
