I've havent been on here in a few days.... Worked on the cars all day yesterday and got pretty sunburnt! Put some more of the interior from the red car back in. Also seam sealed some stuff to hopefully fix a water leak! We will find out in a few. It rained over night, so hopefully the floor will be dry! Also fixed the DD yesterday too. Adjusted the valves and put a test pipe on and the rest of the exhaust back on from it braking off at the flange. Runs better than it has in a while, but still need to replace an axle in it!

Looks good Riley! I need to get some legit camera gear! Tired of using a point and shoot I was going to buy it with my tax returns, but I have really been thinking about looking into getting a house lately... So decided I would save it... for now.


Here is a quick picture I took while I was out... Lighting sucks. The sun was bright as hell, and I couldnt find any good places to take pictures.

Yeah Ive thought about getting a camera. There just so expensive, and I have alot of friends that take good pictures, so I just resort to that. Hopefully I will be doing a sick shoot of my car in the next 2 weeks with my friend who is nasty with a camera. Trying to get some real nice pics of it before I part some of it out.

For a full paint job im thinking it might be $1500 or less.. With some light dent repairs etc.. if needed. Money talks you know!

Cant seem to find any used ones anything less than 18 inch. I found some on ebay and If only they were 4x100....

You can a lot of times find used ones for really good prices online... I forget the sites, but a friend of mine gave me these sites him and his parents (who own a photography studio) use. Pretty reasonable for kits and stuff!

Why are you parting it out?? What are you getting rid of if you dont mind me asking....

Well I'am selling the seats/rails and the wheels. I may sell the mirrors, corner lights as well.
Then I'm just gunna drive it around on the susp/steelies and save up some money until I find what I want, then sell my car.

I love my car, but I kind of feel like getting something dif. I'm looking into getting a stock, clean Em1. Just something with some more options, motor, brakes, sway bars etc... I wanna get some seats, wheels/tires and go to the track with the rest of the car stock and enjoy it. Mod it slowly. . . I'd love to do a swap in my car, it's perfect for it, but Honda motors are just so overpriced. I just don't think spending close to 3grand on a B16 is worth it.

Yeah, I know the feeling. and the whole swap thing has me going back and forth... I am about to just slap a turbo kit on my z6... worst that could happen is blow it up, and be out $300 on a long block. Some days I wake up and wonder why I have put all that time/money into my car... but driving it makes it worth it. I cant wait until its completely done! I think about the money I have into my car, and how I could have put a nice down payment on an evo...

Thank you! And yeah, I sold/traded the TE's for cash and a roof rack and bought these for the time being... I will probably switch up to something different before too long...

Thanks for the comment and as for paint not to sure? My buddy is pretty well known paintless dent removal guy and right now with all the hail storms he is being called to a few states and he is going to pull all my dents first so I dont have to much bodywork for the painters to do but I am bound determined to have it done for IA!
