Thank you I appreciate that! It is a yonaka catback, I love it, very deep tone. I've had the car for a few years, slowly getting things accomplished. Hope to start tracking it in the near future.

Re: where the ej1 love at? post pics
I thought it looked familiar. I have the same one on my coupe. I just purchased a test pipe and a new gasket for my header. I have to fix my rust, I just installed a bwr subframe brace, s2 control arms, and a itr 23 mm rear swaybar.
Re: where the ej1 love at? post pics
started working on this again after it sat for about 5 years..got the swap in, rear disc conversion and a 100 other little odds and ends tied up...its coming along slowly but surely

As you can see, from my pics of mine, someone molested the outside of my car.
All I can think of is Plasti-Dip...

Re: where the ej1 love at? post pics
I figured I'd finally post on here. I traded my EJ1 awhile ago and I kind of miss it but I have faith I'll build another! This one was a 95 and I saved it from the wreckers for $500. 115k original miles on it when I got it; one owner and I had all the dealership receipts from when they bought it back in 95. I let it go with 210k on the dash; most reliable car I've ever owned. Just a stock D16Z6 with a password jdm intake. Only thing I had to fix on it was the water pump and wheels bearings!!

Looks really clean sad that you let it go but hope you find another that you're willing to invest your time into. Good luck with the search, your car looks nice.

Re: where the ej1 love at? post pics
It was (finally) time for a fresh engine in my EJ2.
From an ugly, dirty, oil consuming OEM D15B7
Via this:
In just 5 days, to this:
New engine is a D16Y7 with a D16Z6 head.
Together with the engine I installed some more new parts,
-XXL service: Oil + filter, sparkplugs, coolant hoses, coolant, gearbox oil, clutch cylinder and so on
-K/N panel filter
-ES PU steering-rack bushings
-ES PU motor mount inserts.
-Ebay 4-2-1

Really missing my coupe, especially since I was finally starting to make some progress on it. Trying to figure out how it's going to work when I get it out here to Cali, planning to buy a house but not sure if that will leave any money to work on the damn thing! F'ing retarded LA cost of living takes the fun out
