99% IF Older cars like mine have had some sort of touch up somewhere in it's life, for various scratches, nicks, rust etc etc...
Even some new cars get some srt of paintwork done for being scratched on the parking lots etc etc (you will never know)

to be fair, the 90-91 Si in CDN had painted mirrors, not sure about the handles though...

Canadian crx's came with Painted mirrors, door handles from factory .
