SL0WEGG, ever had a NA GSR? This whole SMOG thing is such a bummer here in Cali. Makes me want to just say screw it and buy an old muscle car, that was it wont need smogged and I can do whatever I want to it. As much as I love Hondas, I would rather have something I can modify than drive around a car with a totally stock engine.

In Oklahoma we don't even have basic vehicle inspections.... I could literally put a carburetor on my car, run no cat and drive around without any cops pulling me over or even caring at all. It's pretty bad ***, too bad I don't have the $$$$ to do anything cool enough for it to even matter though.... The only downside is that there are a lot of shitbox cars driving around that are probably ready to fly off the road due to a broken ball joint/tie rod/steering rack etc.

It's the same way where I live... No inspections... Hell the school buses here are pieces of **** and smoke like freight trains lol.

Ha, one state has fully lenient laws and the other has fully stringent ones.
Here in MA, for an OBD-1 car like our 5th Gen Civics are, all we have is an inspection every 2 years. Just needs to have the lights working and no CEL I believe too. Basic inspection really. Don't even pop the hood and theres no smog. Last time I did mine, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. The ECU isn't hooked up or anything so its pretty neat. Not even sure the ECU can be hooked up on OBD1s anyways. Cat or no cat, none of that matters but it needs exhaust.
Its pretty nice being able to swap anything and not matter. I like it that way, cars are still inspected for safety but yeah, not a whole not of big things I'd possibly have to change to pass.

Nice flat torque and the 45 degree angle of the power curve looks like it would be fun! My friends bone stock H2B he built back in the day was super fun, couldn't imagine driving this beast.

I couldn't imagine it either. I haven't even got on it while driving on the street to even know what it feels like compared to last year. I still haven't taken it apart, I'm almost positive I busted my differential. So i'm just gonna buy the last clutch i'll ever have to buy(twin disc) and then buy an lsd unit. Coincidently my tuner has his old quaife and an exedy twin disc laying around

Well what im going to do is change my cluster numbers around so its the correct number since i bought one with 300,XXX miles on it.
Re: ((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
Its not very hard. If you remove the cluster, theres 2 screws that hold the speedo in place, remove then and the speedo comes out. From there you can simply the first number and if you can turn it but that would take forever lol unless you had a drill with a gear on it. Look in there and you'll see a bronze colored C clip. Take that off and you can set the numbers to what you want. Dont loose it, its very small. Pop it back in and youre set.

Re: ((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
Damn dude that's bad ***. Runs good and holy hell pretty light. I have a pig lol. SI with 5 lug AC / PS... Full interior. I bet it weighs 24??... I remember when I put the 5 lug on i just remember how much slower it felt. My friends I/H/E Kproed A2 Rsx went 14.1 at 98 on street tires.... When I ran him from a 40 we were locked up to the top of my 4th... So I figure with good tires and a good 60ft I should do 13.70's - 13.80's. I'm just running the hondata calibration for an ITR on the S300, it could definitely use a tune because I can tell there are a few flatspots in the tune and I know the "Power Chamber" intake is hurting me... I found a thread on here actually that explains how the 3 inch Aem for a type r gained 12 to the wheels over the J's Racing intake with no changes and just bolting it on. Can wait to see Ure car with some cams... Should run great for sure

Dude I just noticed you have a 2 bolt post mount.... I have a barely used Hasport mount in my garage just collecting dust because my ITR Motor is a 3 bolt post mount so I had to change up mounts, would you be interested?
