Re: ((((((((----EG Hatch Thread----PT 2 )))))))))
This was my ride for the last year but...
...I'm more for old skool rides. Jazz (D2 coilovers, SW96 wheels, Project Kics lugs, CF spoon wing, Nardi wood grain,...) was given to my wife. Me?
Back on EG Hatch.
Picked up 2 weeks ago from my good friend who bought it 3 years ago 5 min before me from older lady. When I look back that was ok because now it's loaded with tons of JDM stuff from Japan and other good mods I would never do or buy (resprayed, itr brake swap, koni yellow/itr springs, mugen twin loop, mugen header, itr air box, itr manifold, iacv and throttle body, new a/c, all possible audio consoles, Gathers all over, oem fog lights, oem door visors, oem sunroof visor, te37 15", rays lugs, Yokohama AD08,...) + 3 boxes of mint EG6 stuff. At the moment I just bought Perosnal Grinta s/w, HKB hub and s2k 5MT shift ****.
Enough words and do some pics.
Crappy phone pic of engine bay.
Our 2 kids love it 2!

Sup dudes, long time no see. I sold her last summer and dearly miss her, I thought I would never be one of "those guys" who always says they miss their EG. Have a '09 TW FA5 now, working up some plans.
I had ebay spoons and the only bad thing about them is the passenger side visibility. I really like when they're painted properly, keeping the "base" black and painting the mirror portion. Can never go wrong with OEM though, look good and are always reliable.

Personally I would have the factory mirrors painted and also buy a set of spoon reps. The are cheap and that way you can mix it up if you want to.

id stick with the OEM personally... powered adjustments and much better visibility compared to the puny spoons....if urs is with the power folding... even more reason to keep them

Beauty's in the eye... They're fine for specific race applications, although I'd prefer the J's Racing approach, but for DD's I'd have to agree. IMO a little less severe air-dam works fine and is isn't quite so attention-getting by the costume-wearing, gun-toating codeshavicks.
