Because I find it irresponsible that you are incapable of owning a vehicle for a substantial amount of time. Normal adults keep their cars for many years to make the investment worth their while. I see no tangible reason why you would buy a car, throw money at it and then sell it right after that. It will never make sense to me.

I am guilty of said, irresponsibility. I don't deny it. I am currently on my 13th car. My problems are constant indecisiveness, and comfort.
Having owned so many different cars in the past several years, I can lend a hand to many dilemmas in choosing a new chassis. I have been in and out of automobiles because of their steering feel, cost, insurance, accidents, upkeep, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
I most recently sold my Subaru because I lost my job and was into an investment that I couldn't afford to upkeep without a well paying position.
Also, more recently sold my CR-V to my brother because he crashed his Civic and was in need of a more utility oriented auto.
I have finally settled into some comfort with my xB and my EF. I get the perfect drivability everyday from the xB, with the barren sporty feel from my EF.
This setup will last me an awful long time as I've never quite felt content with my cars before now.
CLIFF NOTES: So it was kind of testing the waters with each car I've had before now, until I found the perfect temperature porridge.
EDIT: I completely misread the previous two comments. I mixed up Brice and Jim, thinking Brice was asking why some are in and out of cars so frequently. Whoops!!! Sorry fellas. Ya'll continue.

I don't even want to to add my OPINION. Cause that's all it is. But jesus...
I've had 50+ car's. Loved every single one. And like stated, I can tell you anything and everything about any setup basically on how it rides, Comfort, Speed, Gearing, Power etc. I've worked on them all, Made them my own at the same time. And to ask why someone would do it, I've MADE a decent amount of money on all of them, NEVER losing any money. So why not? Because it's what I want to do. Why should your opinion stop me?

Damn I thought I had a lot of cars, the EM1 is number 35 since 2004.
Finding the cars is half the fun, at least to me. I enjoy getting to drive all the different cars and setups even if they are mostly Honda's no two cars have really been the same. I'm looking to maybe make my first brand new car purchase once I sell the EM1 but I'll see when the time comes.

Re: East Coast is the Right Coast - Let's try this again...
Ive only owned 5 vehicles since I was 15(now 27), but I have always wanted to be able to just buy a car on a whim, have fun with it and then sell it off for a small profit. That sounds like a blast and you get to experience all kinds of different things. Although I get very attached to my cars, its probably because I havent been able to afford to jump in and out of them too quickly. I finally have my own home, married and a nice comfortable daily driver and a decent income and my hobby/obsession is about to get much worse..lol.

I know all I need to know about the cars I own and the cars I'm interested in owning. I proactively look and research my next cars in the possibility something happens to any one of my 4 cars. I plan for the future not what car will I buy next week.

I don't believe that you've made money on every car. The probability is impossible. My opinion shouldn't stop you, common sense should.

Common sense told me to keep selling/trading/building because it's got me.. My house, My Cars, My guns, My savings, My lovely woman to move with me etc. Common sense should tell you to mind your own, Cause you do NOT know anything about me. And I'm sure 99% of the people you pick fights with as well. Grow up dude, Stop caring so much about other people. If you say you don't, That's a damn lie or you wouldn't even post in the first place.

Work hard, play harder.... no drugs happily married, own a house and a very healthy savings and 401k, Don't be upset that what you consider a pinnacle of a car is merely a play toy for others

I Feel bad for people who don't have the experiences that I have with my cars, I've owned over 50, paid a good bit of my college off with cars I bought and sold during college and I've only lost a significant amount of money on one car. I make good money and like having toys, you call it irresponsible and yet the money I spend on these cars is a fraction of what I make in a year, when I start going through porsche's and gtr's then you can try and say something then but I hardly doubt I will care

Now you're being naive if you think that what you have comes close to what a lot of people here have. Weren't you slinging phones for Verizon last year? I'm sure you're not as well off as you're boasting. Owning 50 cars is only impressive if you still own them. You're one car doesn't even touch 30k. That isn't much. I'm not sure what you consider doing well is, but that isn't it.

You picked me out of all the posts lol.. You are so damn narrow minded, It's not even funny. Look at the other posts as well. I have no reason to lie, And do not need to explain or show/make you understand how I've made money on each one, And neither does anyone else. If you really care, PM them and ask. That's good for you Brice, Really. No one asked, It seems like you start things like this, To make sure every knows your opinion or what you think of that subject.

I was talking to Brian and partially Jim. And you had to stick you're nose in where it doesn't belong.
Oh and if slinging cars got your "lovely woman" than she must be quite a catch.
My wife married me for me not because of my possessions. Despite what you think, I'm a great husband and a loving father. So do me a favor and **** off.

In the last decade (when I first started driving), I have owned two cars total, both of which I still own now.
I get too attached to cars. I can't sell them. I've thought about selling both of them recently and buying an R35, but I can't bring myself to do it.

For the 11th time Josh, I don't care what you think. I never will. I wasn't talking to you. To be honest no one talks to you because you're a nobody.

All you do and say is the SAME **** on every post. "My car" "My wife" My kid"... WHO THE **** CARES! no one asked, Never has. how come YOU don't get that. Practice what you preach you airhead
And again, If you post after this, NOT GOING TO READ. Go try and mess with some others that posted the same thing. Seriously man, I don't know any other GROWN MAN on this site, That parades around saying he's Married with kids and all these things but has enough time to rack up 14K+ posts and bitch on every single one about something he doesn't like or approve. I feel sorry for you and your anger/stress level. You are one tense human being. Find another hobby if you can't let **** go you don't like. There's more to life, Trust me. (I'm saying this in a super clam manner, You just really need to see the other side, Or just plain out stop caring and picking stupid **** on a site we're all on for the SAME thing)

Nothing wrong with a debate doe speedooo.
That's like saying you've been with 50+ girls and loved every one of them.
Most people hang on to the things that they love; if you part with cars easily it is not really love. You do it for the money, not love.
I'm not trying to pick on you, so please do not take it as such.
That is what I would call love.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with a debate, I'm trying to say that I can't believe that this is still being debated. We get it, this guy buys/sells cars pretty quickly and Brice thinks that is ridiculous. It's a mute topic.
It's irritating to see things like "you're a nobody" on the internet though. Are we back in high school? That's what this page makes it seem like.

I've met Kyle Crawford, Kevin Spanier, Brandon Kuhn, Herb Brown, Casey Whitaker and many others in real life. We all know each other. We have names and faces. I don't know you but I know you hang out with other dudes in the NE.
This Sir-G DC doesn't know anyone here. Doesn't go to the same places we go. He's a nameless, faceless troll. The only reason I know his name is because I asked him once. I was trying to be friendly. What a mistake.
We all come from different walks of life and I understand that. I'm just of an older school where you buy a car because you really wanted that car to drive and enjoy. Not to try and flip it for a few bucks.
It's fine now, I put him on Ignore so I don't need to read his ignorant posts anymore.

Who cares who met who in real life. That's what makes and brakes it around here, On a INTERNET forum? I've met plenty of people on the boards, Just not the same 5 people you keep saying.
Live and let live, I'll try and contribute some positive here. A buddy just opened a Motorcycle Shop local to us and invited me to become partners with him. We just got a MV Agusta F4 in, Favorite bike of all time! Thought some of you might enjoy it.

What I meant by a nobody is that many of us in here have all met each other in real life. It has nothing to do with High school. At least not when I went to high school which was over 15 years ago.

Doubt I wil bring the Sol, seeing that it would have to be trailered. And towing it myself would cost $600-$700 in fuel, which im not sure I can justify/afford this year But I definitely think I'm going to try and make an appearance some how haha.
I've considered selling all mine too and just buying one, but I too cant bring myself to part with them. Though I wouldn't mind a C6 Z06
