East Coast is the Right Coast - Let's try this again...
Re: East Coast is the Right Coast - Let's try this again...
Beautiful ITR, the way Honda meant it to be.
Right on.
I ran M&H Racemasters 24.5s. What's your high boost?
131 is definitely a high 10 on slicks. ive got 24.5s on lensos for when i do go to the track. ive seen a 400whp rlz dynod integra run 10.8s
its hard to have bbg when i cant boost any lower than 18-19lbs at 7500 on a 7lb spring. hopefully the 44 gate will let me drop it a few lbs. ive got a 14lb spring in it as he said i pretty much wont be able to get it lower than that anyway
i run neo gens 205/50/15, gsr trans with itr lsd.

Plans are to get white JDM 16s and I can't think of much more. I wanted to keep it pretty much stock. And yes, I'm the one!
Thanks, It's a blast to drive. Only thing I could ever imagine changing about this car, Would be a nice coat of CW

Whats the reason you cant go lower than 14? I think anything over 14lbs, you need to run dual springs. If you need smaller springs just shoot me a PM and I'll give you a smaller spring. I'd much rather change out the wastegate spring than hook up a boost controller. So when people ask, I just tell them its on low boost.
14lbs is a waste of 2nd gear, especially with a 6262. Find a way to lower it IMO.

Well either way Honda made them both ways.. lol If it was up to me it would have stayed USDM, But hey the deal I got for it I can't complain and I'm sure no one else would. And yes, Mugen is A-OK, That's what i did with my old EBP Si

ITR LSD? How in the world is that thing still functional. I've seen OEM diffs break at 360whp. Let alone 100 more whp.

im making 25lbs on a 7lb spring. that means the wastegate is completely open by 3800ish rpm when i hit 7lb and its still building 18 additional pounds as rpm increases.
a smaller spring isnt going to solve that haha. at least a heavier spring will stay closed longer so that spool will be better.
im putting a 44mm gate on to help the issue. a 60mm gate is out of the question, theres no room. my setup is pretty efficient and is moving a LOT of air so the wastegate cant keep up. im even on a 63 backhousing, itll only get worse on a larger backhousing and exh wheel.

MUGEN POWER yessir; gonna try and do some MUGEN myself in 2012.

Function over everything. My personal belief.
Not throw a bunch of money at your car just to impress other people.
Normally, I'd say you need a smaller WG to control that, but itf it's still bleeding off...44 should be fine. I run/ran a 38mm and was tuned on 17psi, but it was creeping to 18.5 up top. It's liveable, a psi or two.

What does impressing anyone have to do with anything? Did u throw money at the dealer or whoever else when u bought ur car to impress other people?
I'm not a fan of hella flush either however I don't consider that car hella flush. Sure, I would raise the rear and use less camber but those r pretty subjective things and it could be so much worse lol, yarLy.

what's up homie..? i haven't touched it in like a month or so. lol been extra busy with work. i'm gonna get back on it tho... what change up u got coming on the coupe???
Re: East Coast is the Right Coast - Let's try this again...
Not liking the ITR on the last page is one thing but telling us what 'Honda meant .... ' is laughable at best. Did Honda make u fill out 'what will u be using this vehicle for..' form before u can walked out of the dealership with a honda or something? They certainly did not for me. may be it is different whereever u r.

Of course, everyone has their own thing don't they?
Please. What other purpose is it to have some of these overpriced, "rare" parts if not to look at and th have other people look at. Especially if they're non-functional. At the root, it's all for attention.
Noted, we agree on that. Too much camber on the ITR, and yes it could be worse. Consider this me conceeding to some of your points.

Like you said, subjective. ITR/S2000/NSX's were never meant to be stanced, lowered to the ground or any of that nonsense. I'm sure the designers meant for them to be used in a manner fitting their nature.

Once again. u r telling us what Honda intended with what or their designers lol. U r not sure of anything. Honda intended to sell cars. They r in the business of selling cars. I know, blew my mind too.

A buddy of mines owns the teg. It's a k20z1 with a 125 wet shot. Makes like 360 HP I think.
