Sooo ... first photoshoot since SPRING.
This was my favorite shot from a technical standpoint ... dunno, just compositional pleasure.
Was pleased with the lighting on this one.
And my favorite.

I don't know how the hell you guys find those god damn EG2 brackets for the Raybrig fogs. I'm havin' a hard time. Has anyone tried to fit actual EK ones?

Again, incorrect. The del Sol brackets bolt to the back of the bumper and require a hole to be cut in the bezel. They're sort of a flat J-shaped bracket. The pivot bracket is also different (the part that clamps into the foglamp).
The EK brackets are a fat I-shaped bracket with all tabs bent backwards. The pivot bracket mimics this.
To install EK foglights on del Sol's, you just use a flattened EK pivot bracket and bolt it straight to the fog bezel with a small hole for the adjuster screw and the harness pigtail.

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
Thanks fellas i'll be trying the "I" shaped bracket and ill just bend them flat and see how it goes! thanks again. What EX lip did you guys use? from a Coupe or 4dr? I have on the coupe but it's sort've too short and I think the 4dr is a bit longer for better fitment? I just want to know if I should just play with it or get a 4dr EX lip.

Also, the 2dr lip is far-far-far easier to find (our USDM EX 4dr's didn't come with a lip), and fits just fine if you have an extra set of hands to help you stretch it a little. Mine's a 2/3dr lip and I'm quite pleased with the fitment.

Thanks Eran! if it's not too much work. But i'll give it a try also I would have to play with it for it to be "Straight" right? lol. Cool I guess i'll order another set of 2dr/3dr ex lip cause the end of mine has already been cut :X due to stretching it by myself lol.

I'll get the shots of the fogs tomorrow evening. I got home really late, had a work function that ran until about 10:30, an hour away from home.
I'll also jack the car up and get a shot of the underside of the bumper for the lip mounting. I used actual Honda fender bolts and tapped them into smaller drilled holes.

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
thanks again. you pretty much flattened the bracket flat and mounted them onto the bezel. Do they stick out pretty far than usual? or just about the same? Going to do this ASAP.

Re: del Sol Owner's Club Thread v 2.0!
From what I've seen, they're actually sunk in further than if you use the actual EG2 fogs + brackets. But yes, I flattened the bracket. The trick is mounting them all the way to the inside of the bezel (not the center), and putting a spacer on the outside bolt (the one above the adjuster screw). If you mount them in the "center" of the bezel, they sit WAY to the outsize of the bumper.
EDIT: Spacer

Yea i'm gonna try to mock on where your 3 holes are cutted to mount it on the bezels and spacers on the outside as well. Got it.
