Re: DB Squad.....for the Teggers with 2 extra doors
What's up guys?! Been following this thread for a couple years now but finally picked up a DB of my own few months ago. Haven't been able to do much with all this cold and snow, but plan on doing more as it warms up.
First, I DEFINITELY HAD TO replace the ebay coilover sleeves and blown struts with Koni Reds and Eibach springs. Rides a ton better and I like how it sits, just the occasional scrape here and there. Put some HIDs in. I snowboard a lot so got a nice deal on a roof rack. After I took the pics I also took all the decals and emblems off. Threw some steelies on with snow tires for the winter. Should be picking up some wheels real soon. Typical I/H/E setup. AEM short ram intake, dc headers, greddy exhaust (but ISO apexi ws2 or itr muffler or axleback if anyone has or knows of one for sale).
I hope to clean up the body a lot more once the temps are friendly. Front end def needs work (don't ask why there are sidemarkers cut so low.. i have no idea!!) and the QP honda rust. And the previous owner had 98-01 corners on the 94-97 bumper so in the first 3 pics you see them sitting weird, but I got some amber corners to replace them. Hopefully get her looking sexy soon!

Looking good pimpin'! However, my condolences for the loss of your friend. May he R.I.P

Re: DB Squad.....for the Teggers with 2 extra doors
heres a quick font I found. The idea is to keep it minimal and not cheesy. I would add a cutout of the word "squad" in the bottom of the "B" (possible cursive font) either straight across or at a slant of the bottom right. Another thing I would add is a background color i.e. black font, chrome border that would also highlight the word squad. LMk what everyones thoughts are by Monday would be best so I can talk to the sign guy.

Font is fine and agree with minimal (less is more...) IMO it should b both caps or both lower case... Waiting to see it with the "squad" added

nice pick up weak!. lol
I picked myself up a set of the classic Rota Slips lol. 16x7 for me though. Gonna ride on them for a bit, then swoop up my buddies set of TE37's. Then I'll be in the legit wheel crew.

Good observation. Tire size didn't cross my mind.

Re: DB Squad.....for the Teggers with 2 extra doors
Probably came mounted on the wheel already...
But for a 15" wheel, I wouldn't get anything smaller than a 205/50/15.
195/55/15 doesn't look great on an aftermarket wheel, especially 388's. Not to mention, you get more performance out of a 205/50.
If you really want some meat on your wheels, 225/45/15 looks pretty tough on the right wheel.
