So much this. I get told from some people my car is clean and they like it, then others come up and say "ah man, you need to tuck this bay, it looks like ****" or my favorite "man, you need to show this thing some love" all the meanwhile they are driving busted as Ef's.

I'm with you. I think I might flick someone in the eyeball for hacking up a Mugen wing.

i got the gen2 wing to fit, only thing needed are custom spacers for the foil, but i never got around to it and parted out the mo0ogen. nothing a cnc shop couldnt make.

I Had issues with the car was in that part of life when you don't know where you are going so started to part it out bought a truck and focused on bettering my life i let it sit for about a year while selling small parts off of it here and there but this summer I went to a track day with Allmotordan and I got pushed back into it, it's my first car I love the thing can't let it go, I was gunna go 5 lug again but I'm more into road racing now so I'm starting out kinda stock but brand new all around and gunna see what I can do with it. oh another db8 owner here, 96, white, with 98+ front/rear, b20 vtec, basic bolt ons sitting on 16" work rs betas. Ill get some pics when i get her cleaned up this weekend.

4 sho... It's really all subjective. I mean everybody has a different taste, style, and budget when it comes to modding their vehicle. In rare cases though, I sometimes think its necessary to voice an opinion. Shed some light to the newbies/kiddies that way they become seasoned/ knowledgeable vets. We all started somewhere. Aka.. Constructive criticism.





Hmm... I like spoilers. Just not big bulky ones. DB's always look fresh with a DB8-R spoiler.

1st of all.. Good to know you're bettering your life. Some never get the chance to realize it or take action. 2nd... Indeed track days will give you motivation. Always gives me some whether it be live or on a video. Best of luck with your plans.

I know Mugen didn't make a wing for DB's but what about a replica? Wings West made a 1st Gen Mugen wing replica for the sedan. This was the original wing I wanted before I came up on a DB8R wing.

I dunno. if a spoiler has risers then it will most likely be bulky. I understand its function and purpose but unless it's a 100% track car it's not necessary imo.

That's the only picture I've ever seen with that wing...was hoping other DB'ers would chime in with other pics or even find the owner. You know it's a replica because of the long LED light in the center.

Heh I want to track soooo bad so I don't mind the bulky wing. Shoot I'm sure my cousin would lend me his J's Racing wing if I wanted to try it for giggles.
