Re: DA Integra's Only
Well, I was going pretty hard for about 7 runs before I felt the clutch was getting weird. It was a 1.5 mile autox course with high speed areas where I could get up to 85mph banging 3rd gear limiter.

I saw it on Facebook. That might be the only time I've seen that. Definitely the result of cheap material.
Went to a dyno day this weekend but was too much of a wimp to put my car up on the dyno in front of 100 people, plus the Db to HP ratio is terrible. I just popped the hood and left it out for people to gawk at in the middle of all the newer Hondas. No one knows about that cross member, I swear.
"Why did you route your pipi....ohhhhhhhhhhhhh."

Re: DA Integra's Only
Here's my little update!
Last week I got my 1st gen. Vision Technica mirrors in the mail and had them rushed off to paint just in time for the well-known NOS 2011 Forum Fest meet held in Kent, WA. Here's a couple of shots of my car with the new Vision mirrors

It's a cheap Aimco clutch kit from ebay. The pressure plate is Seco made in Korea and the disc says QSC on the box. Just needed a cheap clutch to get the car running since I have a track event on July 31st.

Re: DA Integra's Only
I did it right the last time and it still failed with an Exedy clutch. Plus, I'm in the process of building a YS1. This is more of a temp thing until I can get the YS1 build done.
Vid of clutch fail @ 1:20 min and most it wasn't going in gear most of this run

Re: DA Integra's Only
so last night i went to the local meet that happens 1/2 mile from my house every monday night. i it the 2nd week i have brought the da there and i had seen my buddy that hasnt seen the car yet. so i had the hood popped and i was talking to him about it when a group of about 4 guys and 2 girls come upto check out my car. they looked like early 20's and kind of whimpy. so i kept and eye on them because after 3 min they havent said one word to me or my buddy and i notice the one guy had his hand right near my prep valve and was pointing to something and sounded like he was explaining something to his buddy.
my buddy then asks to hear the exhaust and when i went to start the car, it wouldnt start. just clicked once. i look and see that the single small wire on the starter was pulled off. i look at the guys standing about 5ft from the car at this point and they acted like nothing was happening. the wire is right below where the kids hand was. i popped the wire back on and it fired right up these guys acted like nothing was going on with my car after being so interested. weird! so i moved the car across the lot and told my boy who kinda gives all the info needed about the meet moving and so forth. nobody knew who these kids were and i had alot of people keeping an eye on them. im never opening the hood ever again. im thinking they were hoping i couldnt start my car so i might leave it there over night, then come back for parts or maybe the whole car since it was just one wire.
yeah and either the rocker is bent to **** or they are fitted really poorly.
i love those mirrors! i have to have them!
here are some pics from last night. sorry for the shitty night time cell pics. my buddy has to edit the pics he took. ill post them when i get them.
my buddies minty ef. the cleanest ef within 1000 miles
oh and here is a nissan pulsar gtr that came. only seen these when i was in jamaica

Re: DA Integra's Only
Thanks a lot man! It took a lot of searching to find an authentic set of Vision mirrors (that would also fit a DA). They're originally for a RHD EF9 so they bolted right up, no fitment issues whatsoever. The only problems I've had with them is the clearance with my window visors, it BARELY clears. That's the issue with the 1st gen. set of Vision mirrors, the mirror hangs over the mounting plate about half an inch as the newer sets are flush with the plate's edge. I'm just glad they fit!
Here's a picture when I test fit them on. Like I said the mirror just BARELY slides under the window visor.
Hella shady! It's weird that they were actually touching things, let alone disconnecting a wire. It's common courtesy to look and point if you must, but not touch. Breaker bar to the hand for sure!
