Hey guys, I got a 2000 EK4 sedan
My powered driver seat is stuck in a high seating position, the motor just makes a sound but not moving the seat down.
Is there anyway to fix this or should i just try and replace the seat?

If you plan to replace the seat, then find the non-motor version for obvious reason.

I was also thinking about converting my powered seat to a manual.
Just a thought, do u guys think its possible to just bolt off my powered parts and bolt on the parts from a stock manual seat?

What's up fellas. My name's Matt. I've been outta Hondas for quite some time but finally needed a second car but didn't want any payments to go along with it.. so that brings me to this:
1998 Civic LX, bought from second owner who only had it for about 5 months. Completely stock, and everything works. Spent all day yesterday taking off the ugly purple window tint, looks a helluva lot better now.
Gotta get a new bumper, grill, and hood soon too. Looks like the front end got in a fit with a hitch. Also going to refinish the hubcaps since they're in terrible shape and the tires are still good.
Thanks for reading.

I agree completely. Not sure if I want to wait until I could afford (or find) both front and rear bumpers to match. Hopefully HMO has some or gets them fairly often as they're not too far away and shipping on two bumpers would scare me.
This weekend I'm planning on an oil change, radiator flush, and MTF change as well. I'm hoping the dealer has the last two in stock not too marked up. Otherwise I'll probably order from Amazon. Hopefully I'll get to refinish the wheels too.
Oh, I almost forgot to ask - do the JDM power folding mirrors bolt right up and use the existing wiring, or do you gotta take out the USDM wiring and replace with whatever comes with the JDM mirrors? I dont mind if they don't go in and out, but I'd like to retain control of the mirrors inside still. Thanks.

Yeah...I just picked up a Domani front end from him, and will be going back for the rear bumper, folding mirrors, and trunk lid (when available). He's a cool dude, and total enthusiast. I'm not sure what he's got in stock in white, but it's worth a message or phone call.

I would try looking for EL mirrors instead, they bolt right in and you retain control from the inside. Also they are ment for LHD so you are able to see out if them.

Good to hear. I'd like to visit that place in person soon but afraid of what my credit card balance would be when I left...

Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 3
Picked up some good OEM stuff for maintenance this weekend. Gonna put in some fresh MTF and coolant, hopefully find a good deal on oil before Friday. Decided an OEM oil filter wouldn't hurt either.
Oh yeah, my radiator and resoivor both have that old green coolant that Honda used to use. I was just planning on emptying those two and refilling with the new blue coolant - is there any problems with mixing the two? Should I try to flush out the system with some distilled water before adding the new coolant?
Also, just mentioning that I'm doing all this just because I'm not sure the last time it was all done. Car runs great as is.
Thanks in advance.
