Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
Problem.....
I changed to alternator out in my em1 to a GSR one. The original one is 70 amps and the new one is 90 amps. The car runs, but it has weird idle problems.... Kinda sounds like it has a heart beat revving itself from 1000 to 2000 rpms. I check some of the vacuum lines but they seemed to check out. Idk what it is.

Hey guys sorry for the off topic question, but Ive been looking for some lhd power folding mirrors and no luck, does anyone have jdm power folding mirrors and if so hows the view one them, this would really help. Thanks in advance!
Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
It's very do-able. It's not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be I can see out of both of mine it's just not perfect. You also have to use better judgement. You can swap the glass with lhd glass and it's better but it'll never be perfect unless you get lhd mirrors. You can also get base plates off a prelude and swap the mirrors on there with the lhd glass and you'll be able to see perfectly but when you fold the mirrors in they won't go all the way to where they should. I say stick with the rhd ones. They work just fine

i have em full power folding mirrors but believe it or not, i took them apart and ruined it haha. tried to see if i can switch the mirrors (only) to LHD but i found out that the mirrors are not the only thing thats different from a LHD assembly. i put it back together but the power folding mechanism is now jammed
i still have the harness, relay and power button with retract if someone needs it.
its not that bad to see out of RHD mirrors. u just get used to it. unless u do alot of rough city driving like downtown LA then, yeah i would not recommend it as the driver mirror (jdm passenger side) cannot fully swing outwards. you would have to scoot forward everytime you try to see out of it.

It's a 96-98 judging by the tail lights. There is no way to tell if it's auto or manual by this pic. They made ex 4 doors with both auto and manual transmissions

even once in a while i see and ask old ladies or gentlemen at the grocery stores if they wanna sell their virgin 99-00 EXs. 99% dont want to let em go.
i dont blame em. they're very practical cars at this age and time.
no way u can tell from the outside of course but
previous owner (Rarespirits) is a good buddy of ours in this thread and outside.
