Ash, I installed new coilovers all around. I'm only hearing a knocking sound coming from the rear, but it could be the car for being too low. I don't have a rear sway bar.

Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
I'm on progress coilovers jay. It just irritates me that I hear it when I first accelerate than after that nothing, but then when i make slow sharp right turns I would hear it x.x.
jayo - i dont run any camber kit since i feel there's no need for it. As soon as i lowered it I went straight to the shop and got an alignment to adjust my camber and toe. Camber doesn't create tire wear, toe does. Someone can correct me on this.

Though that's technically true, steering angle inclination has an impact on tire wear and camber becomes a factor in that respect. Camber doesn't wear on 0 toe when you are traveling perfectly straight. Any turning wears the tire.

No doubt they're most likely comin', if they haven't already. Fiat's already here. We're getting diverse up in here. Plus other countries want our money.

Fiat is only here because they own much of the Chrysler Corporation now, so the network was already mostly in place to compete with Mini. Peugeot only owns themselves and Citroen, so they have no foothold here whatsoever. I just hope the new ones are better than the old ones... my uncle had an old Fiat Spyder when I was a kid, what a piece!
We need more small diesel hatches like Europe has.

True dat. Diesel pwns. Remember when it was cheap? It's a byproduct of gas production, it should be cheap. The prices now are unjustified and expose the greed of the oil companies.

Yeah, it used to be around the same price as mid-grade. Its easy for the oil companies to gouge it though, they have a captive audience of most of our commercial vehicle fleet.
At the risk of getting slightly political, the solution to a lot of our petroleum problems is to have our commercial fleet on CNG and our commuter cars on diesel. Retrofitting diesel to run on CNG is relatively low cost per unit, and its about as clean burning as a fossil fuel can get. Taking the commercial fleet off of it would lower demand and force the price down (theoretically of course). There's just too much money in keeping the public on gas and commercial on overpriced diesel.
I'm out for the night, later everyone!

They used to burn off propane before they realized people would use the stuff.
Peace, bro. Me too. G'night.
