lol no what i mean is that my RHD clip had a b16a on it from the factory and in my head i was planning to buy a civic 99-00 SI A/C compressor and P/S pump coz of the lines are different from a sohc and then when i tried to just test fit my stock LX pump it fits perfectly....but the stock LX A/C compressor won't fit the RHD lines

lol took my car in to get a new windshield and the workers there where LOVING my car. "oh **** you did this?" "that looks awesome there" haha it felt pretty good.. anyway the boss there decides he wants to take his G-Tech meter out and do some 1/4's with it. my best run ended up being 14.8@92MPH which he said would drop a lot if he wasn't in the car (he was 260lbs!!) and I had good tires. I also need to work on my launches but every run we did I went faster and faster. it also shows an approx. hp/tq reading and it said 137hp which is bad but it read 197ft/lbs HAHA

In an effort to buy something that wouldn’t be a project and for something that would get good gas mileage, I joined the ranks of the Civic sedan owners after selling my project 88 RT Wagon. I picked up a 1996 Sedan EX (canadian version), with a little over 225K Kms.
I am now looking for a simple front and rear lip, I have some wheels ready to go but I still have to source tires, and I’m deciding on what suspension setup to use. No Engine mods on this one, I wanted to keep it as gas friendly as possible.
Anyway just wanted to say thanks for the great thread for me to browse, some great looking cars here. I did have one question:
After buying it I noticed the passenger side front carpet was soaked. I thought it must be the windshield seal. Had a glass shop look at they say the windshield is fine, but it may be a body seal somewhere. After a bit of looking I actually found a TSB on the seam seals for 92+ civic. Seems to describe exactly my issue, but I would assume it only applied to the EG cars. Does anyone know if the seam seal issue also crossed over to the 96+ cars? I’m new to these years but had never heard of it before from my friends with 96+ civics.
Thanks for any help, and for giving me 2000+ pages of sedans to look at!

Check the moonroof drains before you do anything else. Instead of attempting to seal the moonroof like some manufacturers do (which never really ends up working) these cars have a pan which catches the water and runs it through tubes out of the car at the four corners. Sometimes they get clogged with crud or come off or whatever.

I’m going to have a body shop take a look at the seams under the passenger fender. Its really the only thing I can think of. I was hoping to have a few people chime in and let me know they had the same issue, at least then I would know I was probably on the right track.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Yeah I'll miss the sedan too BBG, I wish I would have done many things differently so I didn't end up needing to sell anything off her. Once the rims sold....................I fell flat outta love for her, . So I pop in and out to keep me from thinking of ways to hold-on to her. Now it has to go, and it will in time.
Yes Sir. Had to in order to do it the right way. Once i get the new relay i make a video for you guys. I didn't know it was that big of a deal LOL.
Joel - Sorry homie all my work is one off. No refabing here. Plus awhile ago someone made a harness for power mirrors to sell. I'd think about making one
but nobody would buy it. I don't know anyone that actually hooks them up. LOL

Re: ** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 2
Here is my tech question for the group. Please contribute if you know "fact", because I don't want to go down the wrong path. Thanks guys.
In regards to the AC system, is there some type of pressure sensor in the system that is monitoring the R32 gas pressure, and if so, where is it? I was recalling an experience I had where I could not get the AC pump to kick on. The AC system had no R32 in it at that particular time. I was just wanting to make sure the electronics were all hooked up correctly, and I thought I could get the pump to kick on even if the system was dry. Is this not true?

but i would highly recommend not to or only for a short burst, being the r134 has the lubrication within the freon.
I do not recall exactly where the sensor is but i believe by the where the ac compressor area on the condenser.
