would 15x8 rub? or is it 7in wide the widest that you're talking about? 7.5?

Not sure about 15, but if low enough, yes. Thanks Huey!

ahhh, thanks port..that makes sense

well i could always run a small tire on the 15x8 too right? my car will most likely be super dumped tho...i like the idea of a 16X8 just cuz there is more rim, but oh how i hate those rubbing issues

From what i've seen 16x8 +20 is a good offset for our sedans to be pretty close to flush...you might need a camber kit in the back.

this is 15x7 with a 0 offset, with Correct tire size, IMHO

has 165/45/15...195/50/15 would be way too big of a tire, IMHO.
this looks pretty good! very sexy!

honestly thats not the right tire size IMO, i bet those are 195/50/15.. i personally would run a 205 on 7-7.5 wide.. but i like there to be some tire on a 15, nothing drives me more insane is a 50 series or a 45 series on a 15" wheel, just to get as low as possible, yeah it might look **** from that angle, but i bet from a straight side shot it looks like ***.

if you dont mind running stupid redic, camber then go the 8 wide. i was gonna run some 16x8 with a ten offset rota grids on my integra, but i dont like the insane camber and like i said i go with beefer tires, instead of running the reconmended 205/45/16 on my 16 by 7 i ran a 205/50/16.. and my car sits exactly 6 inches off the ground.. lol

here some pics with a 30 offset on a 16.. and its cambered prolly -1 through -1.5, lowered to 6 inches off the ground.

but i run tires like that because of the road status around here.. lol

It's alright, cosmetics are important too. I like seeing people's styles. I know what you mean though, tech is still my fav.

That teggy has more than -1.0 to -1.5 camber. Camber is rated in degrees out of 360. I've found that If you can visibly see the camber, it's usually more than -2.

Me either. I get what fits. My personal fav with 16's are 205/40/16. That's based on my configuration and the appearance I like. That's one aspect of my car driven by aesthetics, the tire size. Does anyone want to buy my old spuns? Or trade fo 15's?

Speaking of tires. I manually busted a 205/40/16 last night... never again. Took me an hour and about 2 dozen 4 letter words.

Camber gets more negative as the suspension travels. If you lower the car, you have to take camber out to compensate.

So in other words, whenever you need it not to scrape it does.

i guess. took off all my cosmetics. now i got a stock silver sedan, lowered on rsz negatives and vibrant flat black muffler. too bad my resonator is busted. want my car to look and sound as stock as possible.

started browsing this thread after several months and there doesnt seem to be any neat projects coming along except for your awesome american muscle. love those things.

i've moved onto another platform. UZS160 baby.

Well there's only so much you can do to a Civic, I'm glad you continued your interest on to different cars. I love the sedan because it's so generic, it's easy to like. I love some other specialty cars as well, but like with any specialty not everyone will dig it. It's nice to have both, but again, the Civic sedan is great because it's so versatile. It has high points in almost all categories except power. Thanks 'bout the Camaro. Post up pics of the new project!

maybe thats just what my friend told me.. lol, when i take it to get aligned then i will know.. got to get that toe adjusted and the camber even through out the car.. but it wont be driven for a while.. so i am not worried about it.
