Wheels and tire size.
1. '95 GSR - using LS mesh rims. What is the best tire size that I can use?
2. '91 RS 2dr. -using Fat five rims. What is the best tire size that I can use?
Thanks in advance for all suggestions.

In both cases, you can use either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 without any significant problems.
On the GS-R, 195/55-15 is stock, and 205/50-15 is 1.6 percent smaller in diameter.
On the RS, 195/60-14 is stock. 195/55-15 is 1.0 percent larger in diameter, and 205/50-15 is 0.6 percent smaller.

What is better, smaller or larger in diameter? What is the effect smaller in diameter? Thanks

The best size is as close as possible in diameter to your stock size. That way, the tires won't rub on the wheel wells, and they won't make your speedometer and odometer inaccurate.
