205's on 14's?
I was interested in finding out the benefits (or lack thereof) of using 205's on a 14 inch wheel. I am currently running 195/60 and have no problems during auto-x. However, I have a set of hx's I want to use instead of the gsr rims and I'm throwing around ideas about my next tire purchase.
my setup is a 92 gsr on ksport coils and will be using stock civic hx wheels
TIA!

I don't think you will be able to fit 205's on HX wheels. For example, they make the Hoosier A6 autocross tire in 205/55-14, but it's only approved for use on rims 7.0-8.0 inches wide, and I think HX wheels are 14x5.5 or so. Your best tire choice for autocrossing with HX wheels is probably the Falken Azenis RT-615 in 195/60-14, which can be used on wheels 5.5-7.0 inches wide.
If you're not worried about what class you're running in, you might want to consider getting 15x6 wheels instead, because you'll have a lot more choices in tires.

Ah thank you very much nsxtasy
The azenis were pretty much my top choice but I just wasn't 100% confident I didn't have a better option.
Thanks again for the clarification...
