what do you do in garland? do you fab for a living or just a hobby? JW

I do it on the side. My friend is the owner of Vik-Tek motorsports, and I do alot of the fabrication jobs for him. Manifolds, IC piping, whatever is needed really. latest project was a full turbo kit for an 08 si. made 467hp on 14lbs

Well I had my car apart so I could just get it welded and install it same day, but something came up with the person welding it last minute. So I just installed the header w/out welding it...

Vik-Tek (person that posted above you) is near you, I've hear good work from them.

Ah that's too bad you didn't post earlier, I have a buddy that can weld, but he has no machine lol

that was my bad man, i had someone call me up for emergency work they needed to get done ASAP so i was slammed

I used to have a log in here but can't remember anymore. I have carbon fiber exhaust tips and my local welder told me other part to weld is not metal at all, maybe aluminum. Is it hard to weld aluminum to stock steel exhaust? I'm from Plano TX so I will PM that 2 guys. T.Y
