FS: 1995 Honda Del Sol Si (SOHC VTEC)
NAME: Kevin
EMAIL: dc2_lsvtec@sbcglobal.net
LOCATION: Crystal Lake or Villa Park, IL
PAYMENT PREFERENCE: Cash money
PRICE: $1800
DESCRIPTION: I bought this as a winter car, and did a bunch of maintenance (over $500 in parts) on it. It has started up, and got me to and from my jobs without a problem. The car had 201K miles when I got it, and now it is just short of 205k miles. I average 32-33mpg with combined highway/city driving! Great daily driver!
Replaced within the past 3 months:
-Clutch (pilot bearing and TO bearing too)
-Clutch master cylinder
-Clutch slave cylinder
-Brake pads
-Brake rotors
-Thermostat
-Energy Suspension shifter bushings
-Driver's side axle (pass was recently replaced as well)
-Driver's side axle seal
-AEM Fuel filter
-LS Injectors
-RainX wiper blades
-Kenwood in dash touchscreen head unit w/ dvd player
-Replaced every gauge light since 80% were burnt out
The bad:
-Passenger's side window squirter doesn't squirt
-Driver's side door handle came loose, still opens and locks
-Exhaust leak (hole in the muffler, cheap fix if you find a used axle back section)
-Front passenger's side wheel bearing is worn out (I have the bearing, just never installed it)
-Heat shield rattle (Just rip that out, I'll do it for you if you want. I've just been lazy)
-Some rust spots were touched up with spray paint by the previous owner. It is mainly the rear of the car (trunk, roof, rear bumper, few spots on the quarters)
-Heater control slider **** was broken off. I still have the slider to move it. You can plastic weld it or something...
^before axle seal replacement
Some pics of how it sits today. It is very dirty, as I do about 250 miles per week.
Rust spots. The worst is the first one, but you can just grind it down, some body filler, prime, and paint. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Thanks, I like the buyer to know exactly what they are getting. I know I hate finding "surprises" after I buy a car.
Which reminds me. Here's the interior. It's dirty, but should clean up fairly well.
^door skin is ripped on the armrest. Not a big deal, but you can replace it if it bothers you.

Leak or burn any fluids?
Does the hood line up 100%? In a couple pictures, it looks like the passenger side may be off a little bit?
Does the targa top leak?
Clear title?
Any other issues/things that don't work?
And any records of the timing belt/water pump being replaced?

-Hood is off slightly in the passenger's side front (not sure why? metal behind it looks fine).
-I have not experienced any targa top leaking (heard it was a common problem, so I looked for it when it rained hard)
-I've never done a carfax, but as far as I know it is.
-I believe I covered everything
-I do not have any paperwork on it, so I can not tell you when it was replaced. The belt looks good from what I saw of it (did a valve adjustment soon after buying it)
