Troubleshooting : fuse box wiring in OBD2A & OBD2B systems
I relocated my fuse box into my cabin and relocated my battery in my trunk. im having a issue with my battery indicator light being on. My s300 tells me that my battery is at 12.5 volts and i just tested my alt at the local parts store results came out good. alt wire is 8g and my battery cables are 4g. i double checked my ground to the floor pan to be clean and tight. The only thing i noticed today at work while looking at diagrams is my alt wire to my fuse box is swaped with the battery.
Please note: My car is a 90 Integra and my fuse box is a little different. Same concept. I have the ALT and BAT wire swapped. could this cause my battery dummy light to come on?

Yes because you're running off the battery power only and the alternator isn't charging the battery

re: Troubleshooting : fuse box wiring in OBD2A & OBD2B systems
Welp. No luck switched it and still battery warning light is on. I dont understand i tested the battery at 12.5- 13.0 volts (i keep it on the battery tender) and i took off the alt to get tested and it was good. What else could it be? I Redid the engine grounds. and i have a soild ground on the battery. my s300 reads between 11.6-11.8 volts when the car is running? would that because the extra travel distance from the battery relocated? I wouldnt think it would matter. the alt to the fuse book is the same distance. thats where the ecu would read the voltage. Any tests that could help figure this out?

ok I found that these plug into the speedometer harness. But I can’t find where this one plug on the speedometer harness plugs into.
