Default Started up my 2000 accord v6 sedan after sitting in garage for nearly a year

And it was revving like crazy. I was able to drive it around the block to get the battery charged but it was a pretty rough drive. The shifts when cruising were smooth, but from a stop it would jerk and when switching gears to reverse it would jerk even harder, It felt likes the transmission was going to fall apart.

When I got back to the garage I let it idle for a bit longer and just as I was about to shut it off the engine started revving differently and the CEL came on. I'm going to have a closer look tomorrow but in the meantime I'm hoping someone here can offer a solution. All help is greatly appreciated!

Before I stored the car I drove it until the gas light came on and the little red arrow on the gas gauge was past the last line. I didn't empty it completely but I'm sure it was very close to empty.

Try adding a bottle or two of Isoheet to soak up whatever moisture is in there.

I'll try that out when I get off work tomorrow. Thanks a bunch for the suggestions!
