Default Dissasembly of half shaft?

Im looking to disassemble an automatic transmission half shaft to replace the braket with one for a manual transmission. I have a 89 XSI half shaft for an auto tranny that fits but is too long, and a 91 integra half shaft that is the right length but is from an auto motor, so the bracket is wrong. I need to know what the best way is to swap the brackets, since i dont have time to buy a new one. No one carries them around here, and all the integras at the junkyards are motor-less. if anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it.
