I was hoping someone could clarify a few things for me. Ive searched alot on this and talked to a few people but i sometimes get different answers. Ive never posted b4 but have always read post here and on team integra.

my problem is that i dont wanna get ripped off buying a head and need help with the stampings/markings on the b series heads

I was under the impression that the CTR, ITR, JDM B16A1/2, and the 99-00 SI had the PR3 head. granted the ITR, CTR had p+p, better cams and all internals.
but all the heads started off the same....correct

The P72 heads came off GSR and JDM B18C....right

so my second problem was i have an old head I found sitting around but it has no caps to hold the cams in. so i was looking at the stampings and it said P72-2....That would mean its a GSR head...so whats the -2 mean?????
next to that stamping it has 4 circles with numbers inside
first one says 9|3....its a 1993 head
second one says 1|0 what does that mean????
third one says... theres a number 4 and a \ and the other side is empty???
the fourth has an 8|nothing what does that mean???
is there any other things i should know about head markings???

sorry about the legnth of the post, but i have an extra LS block and im gonna try to build a motor and im gonna go look at 2 heads a b16 and a gsr and i wanna make sure i dont get jipped. ive looked into this and heard conflicting stories. sorry for this post if its already been covered but i really need some advice.
