custom made top hats are fine if done correctly.
shock towers are fine to cut as long as they're boxed in again.

Funny because I've had Koni/GC and also h&r ultra low's and the "jb welded" suspension rode better than the konis. There was nothing hack about my setup at all. Would you have called it hack if I tig'd the top hats, powdercoated them, and recovered the holes? Nope you sure wouldn't. If I didn't disclose it was oem struts and claimed they were konis or some other brand, you wouldn't have made your comment either.

And can't afford the hobby? You realize you're talking about modified Hondas right? 90% are just economy 10+ year old shitboxes that aren't worth more than a few grand

Ps... Take a guess at what suspension setup this car has. I'll give you a hint, it's jb welded

Guys with koni/ground control set up? Slammed/wheel tuck or even stance? I need some ideas, advice on what custom rates to get. I got 95 civic hatch with koni yellow. I'm thinking 550F/450R OR 525F/450R. I'll also be getting jdm itr rear sway bar with asr brace and f7 lca.

My DA in 2012

Koni yellows for an EF, ground control coils, EF forks, 2" front and 3" rear entented top hats, these were maxed out at full height, I couldn't go any heigher if I tried, the punch welds were 1" off the ground, STATIC

Then I put 16" rims on it in 2013 and it went up a little bit

Skunk2 Pro-S II. Not a lowlife driver, dd & track.
Never slammed it before so don't know how low these go
although I still have plenty of space left to adjust for lowering.

Hello, guys I need help I need to find out what coilovers are best for me I wanna go slammed but have a good ride no bounce or too stiff, I've been asking friends and reading review and forms but there's a lot of options. I have a price range of $1500 and am open to all ideas or help. Thanks

D2 Super Low Coilovers (rear maxed out & front messed with preload)
16x7 ~20 offset (Not sure of the offset because rims didn't say it and I'm also using 4x100 to 4x114.3 25mm adapters.
165/45/16 tires.
