Icon2 Opinion about the Eibach Sport System

I was planning to pick up some new suspension for my car because its currently riding on neuspeed ( F=2.25, R=2.0) race springs on STOCK civic shocks. I'm not too fond of it.

My car is used as a daily driver, commuting to school and work and sometimes spirited driving. so I am not looking to spend $800+ on suspension whatsoever. Just want a nice drop with a comfortable ride.

Anyways, I found a pretty good deal on them on Thmotorsports for $480.92 OTD :It's Sportline Springs. F=1.6, R=1.6. it's a dramatic raise from my car now.

If anybody is running this particular suspension, please give tell me what you think of it!

O yah, my budget is $500-600 if you guys can recommend me something else different. lol

I can't really comment on system you posted because not too many people run that setup.

But..... if you can afford some PIC apex's, I've heard nothing but good about that setup. It's just barely out of your budget, but some of the guys on market place will let them go for a pretty damn good deal. I would shoot this guy a PM and get a price on them. https://honda-tech.com/forums/wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-48/modern-honda-your-source-pic-performance-coilovers-2473575/

In the $500-600 range it's pretty hard to pick out a good setup. You could look into some tokico illumina shocks with maybe some H&R springs or some tein s.techs. Personally I would get eibach sportlines but those might be a little bumpy for your taste.

The springs that are included in the Eibach Sport system are Sportlines so it doesn't bother me too much. lol.

i just wanna stick to shock/spring combo instead of the coilovers because i'm definitely not going be changing the height a bunch of times or anything like that.

theres gotta be at least one person on honda-tech who uses this system...c'mon now!

Took a tour of eibach last Sunday and was impressed. The way they make everything is top notch plus they make all their stuff in house. I don't see why their sport system wouldn't be great.

the tein s tech is low, similar to the race spring height. the h tech is higher but still lowered. for DD the h tech isn't bad and only is a 300f 250r spring rate if you buy the 94-01 teg springs {which is still stiffer than most lowering springs, not to mention rated correctly} more or less. you could use the $300 koni replacement shocks and have the whole setup for $480 shipped. not to mention you can sell the race springs for at least 80-100 used making your out of pocket cost 380

Thx for the much needed advice. Yah the Tein s-tech's are a dramatic increase in raising the car. I thin it's F=1.7, R=1.7. i currently sit at F=2.25, R=2.0.

I had the tein h-tech in my previous 96 civic and it wasn't low enough. felt like i was still stock.

Alritey, I think i'm going to pick up the Sport System shock/spring combo Kit. thanks guys!
