Lower Control Arm bolts

Default Lower Control Arm bolts

according to the picture #19 that bolt connects to the subframe and trailing arm, does that same bolt connect the shock to the LCA

and heres a link to the site

No they're different just like my EJ1/EG's and probably every other Civic.

haha yeah all 3 LCA bolts are the same, they just show up in different diagrams.

Actually all 92-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras use the same bolt on each end of the LCA - the 90173-SR3-003 10x80mm bolt shown above. 96-00 Civics also use the same bolt for the lower shock fork.

However, 92-95 Civics and 94-01 Integras use a different, slightly longer bolt through the lower shock fork, a 10x84mm bolt, since those cars have a wider bushing in the LCA for the shock fork. 96-00 Civics have a narrower bushing and therefore use the same bolt as is used in the other locations on the LCA.

thanks, and yea i know about the thicker lca on the eg/dc

I removed my rear control arms on my 98 Integra to replace the bushings and broke both the bolts that connect the control arms to rear trailing arm. One bolt was seized in the nut and the other was seized in the bushing. Be prepared for these to break and have a lot of fun getting the remains out. I had to remove the trailing arm/control arm assembly, cut the bushing/bolt with a sawzall, and then back the threaded part of the bolt out of the nut with vice grips.

They are different. The LCA bolts have a pointed tip to help guide them through the bolt hole. Whereas the lower shock bolts have a flattened tip. They'll all work though better than a parts store replacement.
