Anyone running 16" wheels with RL caliper setup?
Hello. Im looking to use the RL caliper setup but with 16" wheels. I know a while back there was a "post your BBK setup" thread and i seen a few running 16" wheels and others that didnt list sizes. Let me know what youre running with these calipers and if you had to use spacers or not. Thank you

You're planning on running 2018 RL calipers on your 1965 Ferrari with 16" wheels with a custom made bracket that mounts the caliper inboard of the wheel well?

07 RL caliper onto 93 Del Sol.
Already had a kind member make a wheel suggestion for me without the sarcasm. Thanks

Lol what rotors, bud?
I have 06 RL calipers (same thing) on my TSX. There is no way 16's will fit for me.

Re: Anyone running 16" wheels with RL caliper setup?
Here is the original thread with some 16" wheels that fit
https://honda-tech.com/honda-acura-28/post-up-pictures-your-big-brake-kit-2681955/
Reason i asked is because i knew 16" motegi traklites 1.0 would fit but theyre discontinued. I once had an 11.8" 4x100 redrilled rsx-s rotor /s2k caliper setup that fit under the 15" version. Rota c10s will fit i was told with 10mm spacer. Just looking for more wheel choices than the ones in the thread above.
Ill eventually figure it out

I've got mine on a DC2 with TE37 +33, Regamaster Evo +35, and Azect t.01 +48(ish) and only the Azect need a spacer.
To fit under 16" wheels it comes down to rotor size and the barrel and spoke design of the wheel more than offset. Some wheels, like the TE37 are designed for bigger brakes.

Rally type wheels are meant to fit larger than normal brakes as well. I had 15x6.5 +35 RCG-4's on my ITR that *looked* like they'd house S2000 brakes.

I'm not sure that's even possible. I know it's a different car, but this is my 01 Accord with FFC bracket, RL calipers and 12.8" rotor on a 17" wheel.
There's less than 1/4" gap between the caliper and wheel, and I also had to run a 3mm spacer so the spokes clear the face of the caliper.

Re: Anyone running 16" wheels with RL caliper setup?
It is possible but it's not a bolt-on affair even with adapter brackets. I had to modify mine and find the right rotor to work.
As I stated above, the spoke and barrel design of the wheel is most important. I got two sets to work without spacers, one set to work with spacers and found a fourth set of wheels I had would never work even with spacers.

I don't recall BUT I did find them by going through Brembo's online catalog. You'll have to excuse me because this was years ago.

Re: Anyone running 16" wheels with RL caliper setup?
ok i tried a few more wheels
15x8 +35 Rays Gram Light 57dr did not fit
16x7 +32 Volk RE30CSII fit with a 3mm spacer but I would run a 5 minimum
16x8 +20 JnC 014 also needed a good size spacer.

This thread makes me want to pick another set of RL calipers and see if they'll fit behind my 16" TSW Trackstar 4's.
